Versitron RDB Head
Do you currently have a Standard Scale Newage Versitron Hardness
Tester? Do you occasionally have to perform testing? If so, we
may have the answer for you.
If you currently have a Versitron and are interested in purchasing
another one, you don't have to buy a Test Frame. One of the many
nice features of the Versitron is that the Test Head can simply
by removed by loosing one Allen screw, and a different Test Head
can be installed.
The Versitron is a very accurate and quick machine unaffected
by dirt, oil or vibration, while still conforming to A.S.T.M.
E-18. Other manufactures have tried to make a machine that does
what this one does, but with little to no avail. Because of their
speed and tolerances to dirt and oil they are commonly found
in companies that do large numbers of tests to companies that
typically have harsher environments.
This Superficial Basic Digital Test Head has adjustable high/low
tolerance indicator, time-at-load settings (0-99 seconds), display
of average and standard deviation, printout of test results,
histogram, and total statistics (when attached to a printer),
2400 memory capability, and an RS-232 output. Test Head comes
with the following accessories: 1 new "N" diamond penetrator
with cert., 1/16" ball penetrator with t/c ball and cert.,
power cord, protective shroud, and operations manual. This tester
is capable of reading the following hardness scales 15N/T, 30N/T,
45N/T, etc...
The Test Head is in good condition and read great. However,
there are some small defects in the paint, due to use and age.
Test Head will be Calibrated and Certified before being shipped.
This Test Head new from the manufacturer is over $9,000.

If this Test Head is to be used on a Test Frame that isn't
currently using a RDB or RDS style head you will also need to
purchase an extension to accommodate the larger dimensions of
this SRDB Test Head.
