Microhardness Tester
The Wilson MO Tukon Microhardness Tester is capable
of applying loads from 1 gram to 1000 grams, it is mechanically
operated and may be used for either Knoop or Vickers Indenters.
The load is applied under dash pot control, and is adjustable.
Both rate of application and dwell time are also adjustable to
meet your testing needs.
Focusing of the tester is done using the elevating and adjusting
of the microscope.
This model is a bench model. The benefits to the bench are
that it raises the eyepiece to an appropriate height to look
through while sitting. It also provides storage for microhardness
accessories, and eliminates the need to drill a hole for the
elevating screw to travel through the desk or whatever it would
be resting on.
This tester comes with a built in fiber optic unit that provides
excellent light for viewing the samples.
Tester comes with the following:
- Weight hanger (200 grams), 100 gram weight, 200 gram weight,
500 gram weight.
- Knoop or Vickers Indenter, self leveling vise, objectives
(10x, 20x, 50x), 10x measuring eyepiece, bench, fiber optic lighting
source, operating manual, certification, and calibration sticker.
